Ride-Hailing in Staten Island.

The borough with the most homes and the fewest options. Bobby is bringing the same flat-fee service to Staten Island that the other four boroughs will get.

Over the Verrazzano or a hop to the St. George ferry, Staten Island trips run long and add up fast. Bobby will quote the TLC-metered fare before you buckle up.

The math, both ways

A flat $1 fee, whichever side you are on.

Here is how a Midtown to JFK ride works on Bobby, for the customer and for the driver. Drag the price to see it at any job size. Same flat fee, no percentage cut, ever.

$24

If you book it (customer)

Driver's price$24
Bobby fee+ $1
Card processingat cost
Price + Bobby fee$25

The driver keeps 100% of their price. Bobby's fee is a flat $1, never a percentage. Standard card processing is billed at cost, and your full total is shown before you confirm.

If you provide it (driver)

Your price$24
Bobby's cut from you$0
You keep$24

A typical 25% app would take $6 of this job. On Bobby, all $24 stays yours.

What you keep as a driver, side by side

On Bobby
100%

You keep all $24. No percentage, ever. The flat $1 fee is the customer's, added on top.

A typical 25% app
75%

They take $6 out of this one job. You keep just three quarters of your own work.

Example only, not a quote. Drivers set their own price; the flat $1 fee is what stays fixed.

What you get

Everything, one flat fee.

  • The regulated TLC meter price, shown before you get in
  • Licensed, background-checked NYC TLC drivers at launch
  • Airport runs out to JFK and LaGuardia
  • Live tracking and card payment, right in the app
  • One flat $1 on top, no surge and no percentage skim
How it works

Three steps.

  1. Punch in pickup and drop-off

Tell it where you are and where you are headed. The TLC-metered fare pops up before you confirm, so nothing is left to guess.

  2. Get a licensed driver nearby

A background-checked TLC driver picks up the trip, and you watch the car come to you in real time.

  3. Ride, then pay in the app

Pay by card with a tap when you arrive. The driver walks away with the whole fare, and Bobby keeps one dollar.
