Landscaping in New York City.

Vetted landscapers at launch, your price, one flat $1 fee.

Yes, New York has yards. Deep backyards out in the boroughs, planted gardens tucked behind brownstones, real lawns all over Staten Island, and Manhattan terraces and rooftops that need genuine care. Bobby is being built to connect New Yorkers with vetted landscapers for mowing, planting, cleanups, and everything green in between. You see the price before you commit, and the fee is a flat $1. Landscapers set their own rate and keep every dollar of it.

The math, both ways

A flat $1 fee, whichever side you are on.

Here is how a fall yard cleanup works on Bobby, for the customer and for the landscaper. Drag the price to see it at any job size. Same flat fee, no percentage cut, ever.

$95

If you book it (customer)

Landscaper's price$95
Bobby fee+ $1
Card processingat cost
Price + Bobby fee$96

The landscaper keeps 100% of their price. Bobby's fee is a flat $1, never a percentage. Standard card processing is billed at cost, and your full total is shown before you confirm.

What you get

Everything, one flat fee.

  • Background-checked, reviewed landscapers at launch
  • Lawn mowing, edging, and steady seasonal upkeep
  • Planting, gardening, hedge trimming, weeding
  • Spring and fall cleanups, leaf hauling, snow work

How it works

Three steps.

  1. Tell Bobby about your space

Backyard, brownstone garden, rooftop terrace, whatever you’ve got. Describe it, say what it needs, and the price shows up before you commit.

  2. Get matched with a landscaper

A verified, reviewed landscaper nearby takes the job, one time or on a set schedule.

  3. Pay securely, keep it simple

Pay by card in the app. The landscaper keeps 100% and Bobby takes a flat $1.

The $1 difference

Why New Yorkers are choosing Bobby.

Most home-service apps skim 15 to 30 percent off every job. A good landscaper either eats that loss or quietly nudges your price up to cover it. Bobby does it differently: a flat $1 per booking, full stop. The landscaper keeps their whole rate, you see the total before you book, and the person doing the planting and mowing gets paid exactly what they earned. Simple, and fair on both ends.

Questions, answered

Landscaping FAQ

How much will landscaping cost on Bobby?
You pay the landscaper’s price plus a flat $1 booking fee, never a percentage. Standard card processing is billed at cost and shown in your total before you confirm. They set their own rate, keep 100% of it, and you see the full price before you book.
Does anyone in NYC actually need landscaping?
More than you’d think. Outer-borough backyards, brownstone garden plots, Staten Island lawns, Manhattan rooftop terraces, they all need care, and every one of them is on the list when Bobby launches.
Can I book recurring lawn care and cleanups?
Yes. One-off jobs and standing appointments both work: a weekly mow, monthly garden care, or spring and fall cleanups on whatever schedule suits you.
Is Bobby available yet?
Not yet. Bobby is getting ready to launch in New York City and finishing the required registrations and licensing. Join the launch list and you’ll be first in line to book a landscaper when we go live near you.
