How much does GreenPal charge?
GreenPal is a lower-cost lawn marketplace, a 5 percent vendor fee instead of the bigger cuts you see elsewhere. Here is exactly how it works in 2026, and how a flat per-booking model measures up.
Pricing sourced July 2026 · Pre-launch comparison
In short
GreenPal charges vendors a flat 5% marketing fee on the revenue they earn through the platform, plus payment processing. It is one of the lowest cuts in lawn care, well under the up-to-20% some competitors take, but it is still a percentage that grows with the job.
GreenPal vs a flat fee, side by side
| GreenPal | Bobby (pre-launch) | |
|---|---|---|
| Fee model | Percentage marketing fee | Flat fee per booking |
| Platform take | 5% of vendor revenue | Flat $1 per booking |
| Who the fee scales with | Grows with the job price | Fixed, whatever the job price |
| What the vendor keeps | 95% of the job (before processing) | 100% of the job |
A worked example
Take a $60 mow.
GreenPal: At a 5% marketing fee the platform keeps $3 of that $60, leaving the vendor $57 before payment processing.
Bobby (being built): With the flat model Bobby has planned, the fee is $1. The vendor keeps the full $60 and the customer pays $61.
GreenPal keeps 5 percent of the revenue a vendor earns through the platform, with payment processing on top. At 5 percent it really is one of the cheaper lawn marketplaces, and it is only fair to say so. Still, a percentage is a percentage, so the dollar amount grows with the job: a bigger yard hands over more even at the same rate.
A flat per-booking model takes the scaling out of it. Bobby is being built on a flat $1 per booking, so on jobs above about $20 the flat dollar comes in under a 5 percent cut, and the vendor keeps 100 percent of the job price.
