The math at different sizes
The 15% service fee climbs as the job gets bigger, and the trust fee piles on top of it. A flat $1 does not move, whatever the price.

TaskRabbit drops a 15 percent service fee and a trust fee between the client and the worker, both scaling with the job. With Bobby it is a flat $1 per booking added on top instead, so the provider keeps their full rate and the platform cost is the same on every job.
On a $200 job, TaskRabbit's service fee by itself is $30 before the trust fee even lands. Bobby's planned fee is $1. The bigger the job, the wider that gap gets.
